Since founding the business in 2022, we’ve believed that working locally means more than just being nearby… it means being genuinely invested in the communities of Herefordshire and the Marches, and helping us do even more for the place we all call home.
Free HR Clinics for small businesses and charities
We offer regular, free HR Clinics to local small businesses and charities across the Marches and Herefordshire. We recognise that small organisations are the lifeblood of our area and that many founders start with passion, purpose and very little else. The option to go out and pay for expert advice simply isn’t always there. Our Clinics are our way of giving back… accessible, friendly, no-strings HR support for those who need it most.

OTHER WAYS WE SUPPORT OUR local COMMUNITY
Supporting our local community isn’t an afterthought… it’s part of who we are. We’re proud to actively give back to the community we call home and, as Marches HR grows, so does the impact we’re able to make together.
Every Marches HR employee receives 2 fully paid days each year to volunteer with a local charity, CIC or school. Schools are included as we do a significant amount of work with them and believe passionately in access to quality education.
We’re proud signatories of the Armed Forces Covenant – a pledge to support service personnel, veterans and their families. This commitment’s particularly meaningful given the strong Armed Forces presence and heritage across our area.
We were among the first members to join the Business for Good scheme, through Herefordshire Community Foundation. Through the scheme, we support grassroots projects and individuals who need help the most across Herefordshire.
We also sponsor community organisations and sports clubs Westfields FC, Leominster In Bloom and Ludlow Town FC Women because we know thriving communities need active investment (however modest) from local businesses who care.
